About the Position

SportsRecruits is seeking an experienced VP of Growth to lead its growth strategy across marketing, content and product. The role will be responsible for identifying and prioritizing growth opportunities across paid, earned and organic campaigns. This is a great opportunity to help define the trajectory of SportsRecruits.

Who are you? You are an analytical, hard-working growth pro who loves digital channels. You've built a team in the past and are comfortable in channels like Paid Social, Organic/Paid Search, Affiliate, Display, Video, Email, and more. You're an attribution junky, too, and you know how to scale winning channels and quickly kill off campaigns that aren't showing traction. As part of the role, you will work with our product team to optimize the sales funnel on the website by analyzing data from our analytics suite and A/B testing landing pages, layouts and content. You love spending time in Google Analytics, MixPanel, Amplitude, and other data tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Own all paid and organic marketing channels, focusing on efficiency and MoM growth
  • Produce weekly reporting against budgets, lead growth, and blended CAC
  • Work closely with product to build tests around conversion optimization
  • Oversee the SportsRecruits e-mail program and build automated drip / promotional campaigns meant to convert prospects into members
  • Drive thinking around creative tests, placements, landing pages, and audiences to scale campaigns efficiently
  • Identify new channels to test that have scale and align with performance and CAC metrics
  • Execute and oversee all marketing efforts including user acquisition and awareness campaigns across email, blogs, SEO and SEM.
  • Develop and maintain KPI tracking, marketing deliverable calendar and marketing budget.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of growth marketing experience
  • Expert in at least one paid marketing channel (Facebook, Google, Affiliate, Display)
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • You are a whiz in google analytics
  • You have experience generating conversions through SEO and SEM
  • You have executed a content strategy to generate traffic and leads
  • You have executed email marketing and automated marketing campaigns to convert leads
  • Experience as a key stakeholder of product & engineering organizations preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Eager, analytical problem solver with a testing mindset
